There was a season where every woman I met seemed to be thinking the same thing: “I want more out of life.” Some wanted confidence. Others wanted clarity and purpose. Still more had this inner belief that they used to be happy, strong women—but somehow lost their way along the way. I heard it in their words, their journal entries, and even saw it in how they carried themselves when they thought nobody was watching.
As a guy, I didn’t want to step on that desire—or claim to understand every intricacy of it. But I couldn’t ignore how often I heard it, and how badly they wanted it. So I started asking questions. Better questions. Listening intently instead of waiting for my turn to speak. Asking questions about what it really takes to become her—the you that you’re dreaming about right now, but that the world hasn’t seen yet. The you that shows up for what matters. Walks with confidence. Feels comfortable in her own skin.
I wanted to help women actually become that version of themselves. That’s why I created something unique—a guided journal that holds your hand every step of the way: Becoming Her 6-Month Challenge.
This isn’t about striving for perfection. It never will be. It’s about deciding that you are worth 6 months of commitment, focus, and alignment. Long enough to see changes, but just enough to keep you thirsty for more.
Six months of better becomes a new lifestyle.
WHY SIX MONTHS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Listen, six months is not a year. But it is enough time to form new habits, thoughts, and routines. Research from University College London indicates that it takes an average of 66 days to build a new habit. Six months gives your body plenty of time to adjust.
Plus, six months of commitment is not so long that you won’t want to keep going. One year can be daunting, but 6 months allows you to dive in with some urgency. You’ll get started, then before you know it—you’re already seeing results!
Our goal with this challenge isn’t to become a “perfect” version of you. Our goal is to become the best version of the woman that you already are.
MONTH 1: CREATING CLARITY
When you start anything new, you need a strong foundation to build from. Without clarity, discipline, and an environment that supports your growth, stepping into your “becoming her” phase will feel impossible.
Here are 3 categories to focus on for the month of January.
CLARITY: Grab a journal and write out the woman that you want to become in 6 months. Don’t write vague things like “I want to feel better.” Instead, describe how she speaks. How she carries herself. How she walks through the world. THIS is your north star for the next 6 months.
DISCIPLINE: Start small by building little habits into your day. Maybe you wake up 30 minutes earlier each morning, drink more water, or journal consistently. Small victories lead to massive changes.
ENVIRONMENT: Your environment directly impacts your mindset. Take time this month to tidy up and create an environment that puts you in the mood to be the woman you want to become.

MONTH 2: INVEST IN YOUR BODY
If you only focus on one thing this month, let it be your health. You can have all the goals in the world, but if you don’t feel healthy and energized, you will never show up as your best self.
Eat nutrient-dense foods. Move your body every day. Get plenty of rest.
Simple as that.
EAT: Pay attention to what you put into your body. You don’t need to go on any fancy diets. Just ensure your body is receiving foods that will give you energy and make you feel strong.
MOVE: Get your heart pumping. Take a walk, do yoga, stretch, lift weights—just move in a way that feels good for your body. Research shows that 30 minutes of exercise a day improves mental health and physical well-being (CDC).
SLEEP: We women LOVE to grind so hard that we forget to rest. But sleep is how your body restores and repairs itself. When you sleep, you will be able to show up stronger each day.
MONTH 3: WORK ON YOUR MINDSET
Time to start brainwashing yourself with good thoughts. Month three is all about your mindset. If you don’t love the mental dialogue you have with yourself, you will never create the life you desire.
This month, focus on affirmations, learning, and sharpening your focus.
AFFIRMATIONS: Tell yourself positive things every day. Affirmations aren’t going to magically change your life overnight, but they will help rewire your thinking to encourage YOU rather than discourage you.
LEARNING: Expand your mind by reading books, listening to podcasts, or taking a course that challenges your current way of thinking. The more you learn, the more confidence you will gain to tackle new opportunities that come your way.
FOCUS: Practice focusing on the now. Through meditation, journaling, or simple awareness exercises, you can train your mind to notice when it starts to spiral and redirect your thoughts. Focus is power.

MONTH 4: UPGRADE YOUR STYLE
By now, you’ve been working on yourself mentally. It’s time to make sure the world around you reflects that inner strength.
This month is all about style. It’s not about being vain. It’s about making sure your outside matches how YOU feel on the inside.
Focus on your grooming habits. How you dress. How you present yourself to the world.
Scrub your skin. Refresh your hair. Update your wardrobe with clothing that makes YOU feel confident and strong. You don’t have to spend money at expensive stores. Grab some basics that suit your style.
Practice your posture and body language as well. How you stand, walk, and carry yourself says more about you than your words ever will. Take pride in how you hold yourself.
MONTH 5: INVEST IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
You might be thinking, “Won’t focusing on myself make me selfish?” Not at all. When you learn how to better yourself, you also learn how to be better for others.
The fifth month is all about your relationships. Becoming who you are meant to be doesn’t mean pushing everyone else away. It means elevating those around you as you rise.
Look at your current circle of friends and family. Who are the people that lift you up? Who sucks your energy dry? You don’t have to cut anyone out of your life—but you should establish boundaries with people who demand your attention but give nothing in return.
Spend time this month growing relationships with the people that matter. Learn how to listen and be present. The woman you are becoming doesn’t only build strength for herself. She’s a safe place for others to lean on.
MONTH 6: STEP INTO YOUR GREATNESS
It’s finally here—the last month of your Becoming Her Challenge. By now, you should have a better understanding of the person you want to become. You’ve worked on your habits. You’re eating and sleeping well. You’ve learned how to manipulate your own mindset.
It’s time to step into her.
Say yes to more. Speak up when you might have clammed up in the past. Go after the things you’ve been preparing for these past 6 months. Stop waiting to become her—start living as her.
Consistency matters. Remember that at the end of these 6 months, your work doesn’t stop. Becoming a “new” you is a continuous process. Six months of solid work is just the beginning of who you always were, brought to the surface.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Becoming her isn’t about becoming a new you. Becoming her is the best version of you that you can be.
Six months may feel daunting right now. But take a look at this challenge. It’s broken down into easy monthly goals that will challenge you to STEP INTO YOUR POWER. Six months from now, you’re going to thank yourself for starting today.
Remember that you are already complete, whole, and deserve to live your life as the woman you were created to be. You just need clarity on how to get there. And once you have that—you’re unstoppable.
